Ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 No 48258, with Fowler 3500 gallon tender, is seen getting preparing to leave the shed. Built by the North British Locomotive Company in October 1940, No 48258 remained in service until August 1967 when it was withdrawn from 8A Edge Hill shed.
