British Railways 4-6-0 Standard Class 5 No 73030 is seen coming off shed alongside the up Market Harborough line. The Standard Class 5 design was in effect an update by Robert Riddles, the CME of British Railways, of Sir William Stanier's highly successful Black 5 design. Built in July 1953 by Derby works, No 73030 only remained in service until August 1965 when it was withdrawn from 81F Oxford shed for scrapping by Cashmore's of Newport.
