Ex-LMS 4-6-2 Princess Coronation Class No 46234 'Duchess of Abercorn' stands outside Rugby Shed in August 1959. Built as LMS No 6234 by Crewe works in August 1938, No 46234 was allocated this number by British Railways in October 1948 which it was to carry in service until January 1963 when it was withdrawn from 12B Upperby shed in Carlisle to be scrapped.
