Close up showing Stechford station's two island platforms with the main station building being located above the railway on Station Road. On the right is Stechford No 2 signal cabin (see also image 'lnwrstfd1599') whilst on the island platform serving the two down lines is a 'parachute' water column. In front of the up island platform between the two up tracks can be seen a short engine head shunt.
