Vauxhall & Duddeston Station: lnwrvd1487a

The long bench seating seen on the island platform is very different to that found at other local stations. It appears to have a back-to-back seating arrangement with full height side panels and a rear panel inflled only at the top to provide some shelter from the wind. Its not known whether the rear panel was completely panelled, the suspicion is that it was at some earlier date. The porter's barrow shows that parcel and luggage traffic was still handled at the station.
