View of LNWR 2-2-2 'Bloomer' No 630 is standing just north of the original Warwick terminal station with sidings in the background, the bridge being later removed. Just visible, on the top of the buffer beam above the locomotive number, is a board bearing the name 'Leamington'. In this view the McConnell locomotive is seen in full Ramsbottom condition probably in the late 1860s. OS Nock included this photograph in his book LNWR locomotives and his caption read that the locomotive was standing in front of the 'Blue Bridge' at Wolverton. Ted Talbot drew this photograph to my attention and the board on the buffer beam. From examining maps of Milverton we able to identify its true location. Built in 1854 at Wolverton Works No 630 previously carried the numbers 320 and 30 and was later named Ribble in 1872.
