Ex-LNWR 4-4-0 No 25286 'Dunrobin' is seen with crew and in steam outside Warwick shed in the early 1930s. Built as LNWR No 1573 in April 1905 it was renumbered as LMS No 5286 inn April 1926 and then placed on the duplicates list by adding 20,000 to its number in May 1936. The locomotive was withdrawn in September 1937. In the photograph above its in superheated form with a Belpaire firebox and fitted with the cut down LMS cab roof. In addition, the locomotive has Ross pop safety valves and LMS lampirons fitted.
