Ex-LMS 5MT 4-6-0 No 45071 approaches Winson Green station with train W101 made up of Southern stock circa 1957. Built by Crewe works in May 1935, No 45071 was to remain in service until July 1967 when it was withdrawn from 8C Speke Junction shed to be scrapped by G Cohen of Kettering.
