Ex-LMS 5F6P 2-6-0 'Hughes Crab' No 42823 runs past Bromford Bridge Signal Box hauling an unidentified ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 locomotive. Built as LMS No 13123 in October 1929 by Horwich works, it was renumbered as LMS No 2823 in August 1935 and by British Railways as No 42823 which it retained until February 1964 when it was withdrawn from 21A Saltley shed to be scrapped.
