Ex-Midland Railway 0-6-0 3F No 43355 is seen on shunting duties as it marshals vans in the yard to the front of the rebuilt warehouse. Built by Dubbs & Company in 1891 as a member of the MR's 1873 class No 43355 was to remain in service until May 1959 when it was withdrawn from Saltley shed to be initially stored at Chaddesden Sidings until August 1960 when finally it was sold to be scrapped in October 1960 by A Loom of Spondon near Derby.
