Ex-MR 4-4-0 'Compound' No 1002 stands at Kings Norton station's down West Suburban platform at the head of an empty stock working on 22nd July 1931. Built by Derby works in September 1903 No 1002 remained in service until June 1948 when it was withdrawn from 16A Nottingham shed to be scrapped in July 1948 by Derby works.
