LMS Route: Birmingham New Street to Nuneaton

View of the steps leading up from both platforms to Midland Road and Abbey Street Junction Signal Box circa 1968. Note the fencing and gate on the left which could be closed to prevent passengers taking the easy, but more dangerous, route between the platforms. On the right can be seen the square concrete cable ducting used to run the cables through along the track as part of the move to colour aspect signalling.
