View of Redditch goods yard's weighbridge and office which was located at the entrance off Unicorn Hill. The weighbridge and the associated equipment in the office were built by Messrs. Pooley the manufacturer of many such pieces of equipment. This facility was common to most goods yard as a weighbridge was required to weigh loose goods such as coal, aggregate and sand. The facility would be open to the public meaning it could be used by anyone and not just the customers of the railway.
