Binton station on 12th May 1966, some seventeen years after the withdrawal of passenger services on 23rd of May 1949. The station building accommodated the following (starting from the far end): Ladies toilets; Booking Office; Booking Hall; Ladies Waiting Room and a Gentleman's WC and Urinal, the latter facility being accessed from the platform as can be seen above. The opening to the Gentlemen's facilities has been protected by a modesty panel positioned so that no passenger standing on the platform or on a passing train could seen inside.
