Looking towards Towester with the joint LMS and GWR signal box located on the SMJ up platform on the left on 15th March 1952. Ex-MR 3F 0-6-0 No 43568 stands at the platform with a down service from Towcester to Stratford upon Avon. The photographer is standing on top of the under-bridge that ran parallel with the level crossing.
