Ex-MR 3F 0-6-0 No 3594 is seen at the head of a two coach service to Towcester on the single line section having just departed Stratford on Avon station circa 1942. Built by Kitson & Company in October 1899, this MR class 1873 was to remain in service until November 1960 when it was withdrawn from '21A' Saltley shed to be scrapped during February 1961 by Crewe works.
