Close up of image 'gwrga14' showing Great Alne station with its goods shed on the platform and siding in the background. The steel corrugated goods shed was the second goods shed seen at Great Alne, the first having been removed when the line was closed in World War One. Also standing on the platform is a new agricultural machine for sowing seed. The platform was lit by oil lamps on standard GWR cast iron lamp posts which replaced the original wooden posts circa 1905.
