GWR Route: Hatton to Bearley and Alcester Branch
Bearley Station: gwrb770
Bearley Station looking east towards Claverdon with the
original down platform seen on the right circa 1920-22. The main station
building and small down platform waiting room date from 1876, when Bearley
became a junction. The buildings were designed by William Clarke, the Alcester
Railway Company engineer and were red brick with slate roofs. There was no
footbridge between the platforms at this time.
