A 1889 Map of Bordesley showing Bordesley Junction, Exchange Sidings and the original Broad Gauge Engine Shed. The exchange line connecting with the MR was single track and ran into a small set of sidings located on the up side of the main line opposite the Engine Shed. Bordesley station was located to the left of the Midland Railway's Camp Hill line seen running top to bottom on the left of the map. Small Heath station was located to the right of the roads seen running top to bottom on the right.
