GWR 4-6-0 Saint Class No 2908 'Lady of Quality' is seen at the head of a down West of England express passing the junction. The hatch with a sliding door refered to in image 'gwrbj444b' can just be seen on the side of the P & W hut circa 1947. Built at Swindon in May 1906 No 2908 was one of the last Saints to be in service being withdrawn from Swindon shed in December 1950 and scrapped shortly afterwards.
