View of the Concourse shortly after its opening in 1912 with a range of horse-drawn to motorised road vehicles standing on the internal driveway. The large Concourse clock positioned above the booking offices was midway between the two wide walkways that led down either side of the ticket offices to the two island platforms. The sign on the far left suspended from the roof provided passengers with advice as to the destinations available from the platforms on the down side of the station - the Black Country, Wales and the North-West.
