The route at the very top is the Wolverhampton to Banbury line with the central position on this route showing the quadrupled lines approaching Moor Street. The route to the right from these quadrupled lines is the North Warwickshire Railway with the single line from Bearley to Hatton intersecting before Stratford on Avon. The route continues to the Honeybourne triangle where Birmingham's authority ceased. The bottom route is the former OW&WR and runs from Honeybourne to Worcester then Stourbridge before joining the main Paddington to Birkenhead line at Wolverhampton.
