Another view of the District Control Office with Bill Willerton manning the loco men's relief desk on the left and George Williams on the Bordesley traffic section desk on 5th March 1967. Each desk was dedicated to an area within the West Midlands and had its own telephone switch board with which to communicate to signal boxes or stations in the area.
