View of the 1871 layout of Snow Hill's second station showing the changes to the track layout at both ends of the station. The station is confined to the area between Colmore Row and Great Charles Street and new sidings have been installed behind the Great Western Hotel which are accessed by wagon tables. On the left, the northern end of the station, the bay platforms have been remodelled with new sidings as well as the installation of a new turntable for turning locomotives.
