View of Platform 7 from the steps showing on the right hand side the glazed side walls which fronted on to the Snow Hill side of station. The arched glazing panels were to be found on both sides of the station, the other side being Livery Street. The glazed walls provided light in to the train shed as well protecting passengers from the winds that would have otherwise have cut through them during winter.
