GWR 4-6-0 Hall class No 4917 'Crosswood Hall' is seen at the head of an up freight from Hockley as it passes through Snow Hill on the up through road. Built at Swindon Works to Lot 254 in March 1929 No 4917 remained in service until September 1962 when it was withdrawn from Westbury shed to be scrapped in June 1964 by J Cashmore of Newport.
