Birmingham Snow Hill - British Railways Period Locomotives: gwrbsh1268

British Railways built 4-6-0 Modified Hall class No 6991 'Acton Burnell Hall' is seen passing through Snow Hill on the down through road at the head of a Class K train of oil tank wagons. Built at Swindon works to Lot 368 in November 1948 No 6991 remained in service until December 1965 when it was withdrawn from Oxford shed to be scrapped in May 1966 by J Cashmore of Newport.
