Birmingham Snow Hill - British Railways Period Locomotives: gwrbsh1300

Ex-GWR 4-6-0 Hall class No 4905 'Barton Hall' is seen being turned on Snow Hill station's turntable in preparation to take forward a Class A express service. Built at Swindon works to Lot 254 in December 1928 No 4905 was to remain in service until November 1963 when it was withdrawn from Oxford shed to be stored until April 1964 at Didcot shed to be scrapped during June 1964 by J Cashmore of Great Bridge.
