Ex-GWR 0-6-0PT 57xx class No 9608 is seen running bunker first on Snow Hill's up through road whilst working a Class J freight on 24th July 1965. Built at Swindon works to Lot 352 in June 1945 No 9608 remained in service until July 1966 when it was withdrawn from Stourbridge Junction shed to be scrapped in November 1966 by Garnham Harris & Elton of Chesterfield.
