Ex-GWR AEC-Gloucester railcar W14W is seen leaving Snow Hill
on one of it's regular trip to Dudley. Built in 1936, W14W was to remain in
service until the late 1950s. The railcar design featured 'air-smoothed'
bodywork, which was very much the fashion at the time. The rounded lines of the
first examples built led to their nickname, the 'flying banana'.
