Ex-GWR 4-6-0 County class No 1014 'County of Glamorgan' passes through Snow Hill station with an up Type 3 freight service on 19th July 1963. Built by Swindon works to Lot 368 in February 1946, No 1014 was to remain in service until April 1964 when it was withdrawn from 82C Swindon Works to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Newport. A Type 3 working covered 'Parcels, fish, fruit, horse, livestock, meat, milk, pigeon or perishables train composed entirely of vehicles conforming to coaching stock requirements. Empty coaching stock train (not specifically authorised to carry '1' headcode)'.
