Birmingham Snow Hill Station: gwrbsh2691

An Ordnance Survey map (circa 1908) showing the arrangement of the second Birmingham Snow Hill station just prior to its rebuild. There was a significant space at the southern end of the station between the all-over roof covering the main platforms and the Great Western Hotel. At the north end of the station a separate roof covered the three down side, bay platforms which were used for local passenger services (see gwrbsh1192). The two road carriage shed can just be seen top left, on the viaduct between Water Street and Henrietta Street.
