Birmingham Snow Hill - Grouping Period Locomotives: gwrbsh46

GWR 2-6-2T 'Large Prairie' No 5162 is seen on a down parcels train as it approaches Snow Hill's North Signal Box on 5th June 1937. Built as a new locomotive at Swindon works to Lot 259 in November 1930 No 5162 was to remain in service until July 1958 when it was withdrawn from Horton Road shed in Gloucester before being scrapped during November 1958 at Swindon works.
