The difference in length of the third station completed in 1912 compared to the second station opened in 1871 can be ascertained by the location of the bridge girders. The 1871 station's structure was entirely built the other side of the bridge as was the original turntable which was located on the other side of the bridge and to the right of the bridge in this view.
