Close up of image 'gwrdt657' showing the buffer stops, the storage facility on the platform and the goods shed in Danzey for Tanworth station's goods yard. Larger brick built stations would have had storage facilities built into the general accommodation. The dark coloured goods shed was also clad with corrugated sheeting although it might be metal rather than asbestos as in the case of the original platform storage unit. The two other small structures seen adjacent to the up platform but accessed from within the goods yard might have been used by P & W men or coal merchants.
