Earlswood Lakes Station: gwrel2869

A Western Region Diesel Multiple Unit arrives at Earlswood Lakes station on a Moor Street to Stratford upon Avon service in 1959. The station lighting has been upgraded with electric lighting fitted beneath the canopy, whereas the ornate lampposts sited along the platforms have had their glass lanterns removed but not replaced. The urns on the platform are apparently being used to transport drinking water for the signalman and other staff working remotely nearby.
