Ex-ROD 2-8-0 No 3014 is seen receiving attention whilst standing on the down refuge siding just beyond Rumbush Lane road bridge. The GWR bought a number of these former Railway Operating Division locomotives after they were declared surplus by the War Department after the First World War and were a common sight in the area in between the wars. Built as ROD No 2026 by the North British Locomotive Company in May 1919, No 3014 survived in service until October 1955 when it was withdrawn from Carmarthen shed.
