Great Alne Station: gwrga2328

A 1956 view of Great Alne station now converted to serve as a Post Office and General Store. The Post Office and store occupied the single storey building now painted white with on the right of the doorway, the former general waiting room and on the left, the ladies waiting room. The flat roof building seen on the extreme left accommodated the gentlemen's and ladies toilets, the latter accessed directly from within the ladies waiting room.
