Looking toward Birmingham from the down platform showing the two Pagoda buildings on the up platform replaced by a single structure. On 8th October 1936 further improvements were authorised including an additional waiting room and other accommodation. Initially on opening there were only Pagoda buildings on both platforms with possibly two on the up platform. Later the Pagoda building seen above on the down platform was replaced by the structure seen in image 'gwrgh85a' although even this might just be the Pagoda building fitted with a new roof.
