Henley in Arden - Original Station: gwrha1400

View of the end of the goods yard, complete with wagons, looking in the general direction of the front of Henley-in-Arden's original passenger station. The entrance to the goods yard was through the five-bar gates via the driveway to the original passenger station as can be seen. The majority of goods traffic for the town was inwards, mainly coal as demonstrated in the above photograph although as the town had a notable market, farm livestock would also be seen arriving and departing on regular weekly occasions.
