British Railways built 6959 Class 4-6-0 No 6991 'Acton Burnell Hall' descends Hatton Bank with the 09:05 Birkenhead to Poole service on 8th August 1964. Built by Swindon works to Lot 368 in November 1948 No 6991 was to remain in service until December 1965 when it was withdrawn from 81F Oxford shed to be scrapped by J Cashmore of Newport.
