GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 60xx Class 4-6-0 No 6027 'King Richard I is seen climbing Hatton Bank whilst at the head of a down express. Built by Swindon works to Lot 267 in July 1930 No 6027 remained in service until September 1962 when it was withdrawn from 84A Stafford Road shed in Wolverhampton to be scrapped later by Cox & Danks of Langley Green in Oldbury.
