GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 49xx Class 4-6-0 No 6918 'Sandon Hall' climbs Hatton Bank with the 9:40am Eastbourne to Wolverhampton express on 20th June 1964. Built by Swindon works to Lot 340 in June 1941 No 6916 was to remain in service until June 1963 when it was withdrawn from 82E Barrow Road shed in Bristol to be scrapped by Birds of Long Marston.
