GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Harbury Cutting and Tunnel: gwrhc2509

British Railways Standard Class 9F 2-10-0 No 92219 burst from Harbury tunnel on a mid morning southbound train of empty ore wagons. Built by Swindon works in January 1960, No 92219 was to have a very short working life being withdrawn from 88A Cardiff East Dock shed during September 1965 but was fortunate enough to be preserved.
