View of the old Inward sheds now converted for use as a warehouse by the addition of a shunting spur as seen on 2nd November 1938. The canopy has now gone and a long steel girder has been inserted into the wall to allow the spur to enter the building via the side on a diagonal. The decking that was on this side of the two central tracks in the old configuration has now been removed which allowed the GWR to run a third track the full length of the building. Wagons can be seen inside the building standing on this extra road. See image 'gwrhd722' to see the shed prior to the work being completed.
