Internal view of Hockley's Document Store used to store current consignment notes and invoices circa 1967. Now seen in its final days prior to the closure of Hockley, this room would once have played a key part of the administration of Hockley revenue generating activities. The documents tracking the movement and delivery of goods originating at or being delivered to Hockley were all initiated by hand and would be filed and stored in the pigeon holes seen on the walls and in the bench cupboards within the room.
