A 1967 internal view of the Chief Clerk's Office which was situated within the new elevated Invoice Office. The Chief Clerk was responsible for overseeing both for the invoicing and the staff sections. The window on the right overlooked 'Top' shed at the All Saints Street end of the office. The office is very bare by today's standard even taking into consideration the photograph was taken just prior to closure. The only pieces of equipment being the telephone and filing tray. The size of the room and the number of desks with at least two telephones would suggest that the office was shared by others.
