View of Hatton station's main timber framed and clad building housing the booking office and waiting room. The size of the building and type of canopy would seem to indicate that its an original 1852 structure. The rural area surrounding the station would hardly justify larger facilities. As need for extra accommodation grew, parcel and other freight related traffic, additional corrugated buildings buildings were added.
