GWR Route: Banbury to Wolverhampton

Ex-GWR 2-6-2T 5101 Class No 4148 heads a long mineral train near Handsworth and Smethwick station on 26th September 1964. Built by Swindon works in August 1947, No 4148 was to remain in service until June 1965 when it was withdrawn from 84E Tyseley shed to be scrapped by Birds of Bridgend in the following year.
