GWR 4-6-0 Hall class No 5990 'Dorford Hall' is seen entering the station at the head of a fast goods service on 22nd April 1958. Built at Swindon works in December 1939 it was first allocated to Gloucester shed. It remained in service until it was withdrawn from Banbury shed in January 1965 to be scrapped by J Friswell of Banbury.
